2. Ticket Information
Prices: Full - price tickets cost 55 RMB (approx. 8 USD or 7 EUR) per person. Undergraduate students (excluding adult education) enjoy a half - price discount at 27 RMB (approx. 4 USD or 3 EUR). Children aged 6 and under or those under 1.3 meters in height are free of charge.
Booking: All tickets are available online. You can book up to 7 days in advance through the official WeChat account “成都熊猫基地电子票” or reliable platforms like Ctrip and Meituan.
Special Policies: Certain groups, such as active - duty military personnel, can enter for free (valid for themselves only). Seniors aged 60 and above can enter directly by swiping their ID cards without prior reservation.
3. Opening Hours
From March 1 to October 31, the base is open from 07:30 to 18:00, with ticket sales and entry stopping at 17:00.
From November 1 to February 28 of the following year, morning tickets allow entry from 08:00 to 12:00, and afternoon tickets from 12:00 to 17:30, with entry closing at 16:30.
4. Transportation
Subway + Bus: Take Subway Line 3 to “Xiongmao Dadao” Station. Exit from A or D, then transfer to Bus D025, 198, or 198A to the South Gate of the base. The bus fare is around 2 RMB.
Scenic Spot Shuttle: There are shuttle stops at popular areas like Chunxi Road and Kuanzhai Alley. The round - trip fare is 5 - 10 RMB.

2 - hour Tour: Start from the South Gate, visit the Sun Moon,then head to the Juvenile Panda Villas,and finally stop by the Red Panda Activity Areas before exiting from the South Gate.
Half - day Tour: Explore more areas along the central route, including the 大熊猫二号别墅 (Giant Panda Villa No. 2) and the 熊猫厨房 (Panda Kitchen) to learn about panda diets.
7. Tips
Best Time to Visit: Arrive early in the morning or on weekdays to avoid crowds. Pandas are most active in the morning, especially during feeding time.
