FAQ

 I need to book guides in Beijing and Shanghai separately. How do I do this?

You’ll need to place separate orders for each city. For example:

  • Order 1: July 1–2, 2-day service in Beijing.
  • Order 2: July 4–6, 3-day service in Shanghai.

Can I choose my guide online?

We don’t offer online guide selection. After receiving your order, we’ll match you with a qualified guide who fits your needs. Rest assured, all our guides meet the WakaChina Guarantee standards for expertise and professionalism.

How far in advance should I book services?

  • Standard booking:
    Our system allows reservations for dates at least 5 days ahead. For example, if today is July 1, the earliest start date you can book is July 6.
  • Urgent booking (3–5 days notice): Contact our team for manual processing. No rush fees apply.
  • Restriction: We cannot accept bookings with less than 2 days’ notice to ensure quality service.

How do I contact my guide after booking?

You’ll receive your guide’s contact information via email 3 days before your service starts. You can connect with them via:

Your guide will discuss your needs and finalize itinerary details with you.

What is your cancellation policy? Will I be charged a fee?

  • 8+ days before service: Full refund, no fees.
  • 3–7 days before service: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Within 2 days of service: 100% cancellation fee.
  • Rescheduling: No fees if you postpone your booking to a later date.

Do I need to pay extra fees to the guide?

No.All fees are included in your booking– there are no hidden costs. Guides are strictly prohibited from requesting personal payments. If this occurs, please save evidence and report it to us immediately.

Do I need to tip the guide, and how much?

Tipping is not required. However, you are welcome to offer a tip voluntarily based on your satisfaction with the guide’s service.
